I had a previous VIN request post awhile back, and apparently the seller sent the wrong info. Long story short, that WASN’T the car for me.
I came across another Civic that looks promising, and was hoping someone out there could check the VIN for me.
It’s: 1HGEJ8143YL047487

It is a salvage car, 16 years old, 1/4 million miles.
Edit: maybe not. I still think it is 16 years old.
Rant - I hate googling something and results come back for a wrong number. Why even include a different VIN when I didn’t ask for it? /rant

Yeah, it’s for sure 16 yrs old. Everything I can find says NOT salvage, NO theft etc. Miles are 151,000 and the car looks super clean. I was just curious to see if I could get anymore info without plunking down 50 bucks to carfax.

Good luck, I know there are few people here with access.I hope they see your post. Civic with 150k? That is like break-in mileage :)

YUP. That would verify everything. ODO says 151K, and seller claims 2 owner, clean title and no accident history. Hoping to have her in the driveway tomorrow. Looking at it tomorrow 1030 am.

Seller is asking 3K. KBB in EXCELLENT is 2350ish. I have owned 2 in the past, and my last one was just as clean and I paid 2500 3 yrs ago. I am going to offer 2500, and max is 2800. Sounds about right?
